Jack Provine has specialized in civil litigation for 30 years. He has tried well over a hundred jury and non-jury cases in state and federal courts in California and Nevada, and has represented clients in arbitration and mediation with an emphasis on business torts and all aspects of business relationships. He served as a Judge Advocate in the US Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971, as Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas until 1972 and was Associate Counsel for US Financial Corporation until 1974.
Jack has lectured in trial practice at the University of San Francisco Law School and has participated in statewide seminars on Construction Defect Litigation sponsored by the California Trial Lawyers Association, and appeared as a lecturer and panelist on courses presented by the California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB). In 1996, he served on the Blue Ribbon Task Force on California's Home Construction Industry convened by Bill Lockyer, President Pro Tem of the California State Senate.
