Bruce McIntosh is a partner in the firm's Litigation Group and the chair of the firm's Religious and Non-Profit Corporations Group. He specializes in commercial litigation, including construction, real estate, corporate issues and employment matters. He advises non-profit corporations, especially religious non-profit corporations, including both churches and schools on property and corporate governance matters. He has extensive trial and appellate court experience and was the lead counsel for the prevailing parties in Klein v. Earth Elements (1997) 59 Cal.App.4th 965 and Concord Christian Center v. Open Bible Standard Churches (2005) 132 Cal.App.4th 1396. Mr. McIntosh is licensed to practice in both California and Colorado.
Mr. McIntosh is a native Californian raised in Moraga and attended Campolindo High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California; a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Colorado; and a Juris Doctor from Hastings College of the Law, part of the University of California.
Prior to commencing his law practice, Mr. McIntosh served for nearly ten years in the United States Air Force as a Missile Warning officer in North Dakota, a Space Surveillance officer in The Philippines, and a Satellite Operations officer in Sunnyvale, California, and in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He separated from the Air Force in 1991 as a Captain.
Mr. McIntosh is married to the former Rita Kinsman. They have three children: college students Katherine and Laura, and Timmy, who is in high school.
